What is the eSIM?
The eSIM does away with the need for a physical SIM card, meaning you never have to swap it out again. The current Smart eSIM allows users to load their SIM profiles onto a phone without having to insert a physical SIM card, providing it supports the eSIM.
What devices currently support the Smart eSIM?
The Smart eSIM is currently supported by the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra, Note10, Note10 Lite, Note10+, Note20, Note20+, Note20 Ultra,?Z Flip, Z Fold and Z Fold2, the Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 4, the iPad Air 3, Mini 5 and Pro, and the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max and SE, except the Chinese versions with the code ZA/A as those devices only support dual physical SIM cards.
